I've always been a doodler; ever since I was a child I enjoyed scribbling on pieces of paper. In fact, my favourite game when I was growing up was to ask my parents to draw a squiggle on paper and then for me try to make it into something like a monster, aeroplane or futuristic building.

I studied Business Computing at City Varsity (Cape Town) and excelled at the graphic arts model and was offered a job straight out of the course. Instead, I decided to continue my studies with a diploma in 'Multimedia Design, Web Design, CD-ROM and 3D Design' at Varsity College and received the prestigious ‘Student of the Year’ award.

I was one of the founders of a software company and worked as graphic designer, web developer and trainer for 5 years. I then decided to travel and ended up teaching English, ICT and graphic art in Brazil for 5 and a half years. I am presently in England working as a freelance graphic designer.
